In Northwest Arkansas it seems like there’s a produce stand on every corner…and they always look busy.
I have a garden at home with tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers but I occasionally stop at a stand to get peaches or blackberries. Well, I’m on vacation in Texarkana with the in-laws and there’s not a produce stand to be found! We drove around for an hour today looking for one. I brought tomatoes and cucumbers from my garden down here, but we ran out and wanted more. We finally found a little stand on the square, but all they were selling was okra.
I don’t know why they don’t have produce stands down here in the city that’s “twice as nice,” but it sure would be nice if they did…I’m having fresh produce with drawl.
